SKYE, Lochaber and Badenoch MSP Dave Thompson is to be interviewed on two local radio stations during October.
With one of Scotland’s largest constituencies to cover, Mr Thompson is eager to find as many means as possible to reach out to residents of the area in addition to his attendance at community events and regular advice surgeries for constituents.
On Tuesday October 4th, Mr Thompson will be a guest in the studio for David Ogg’s morning show on Nevis Radio between 10 and 11am, when he will answer questions posed by the presenter, who is also station manager.
“The previous day I will hold an advice surgery for constituents at the Highland Council service point in Fort William and I hope several will come along do discuss matters where they believe I can be of assistance,” said Mr Thompson, “but I think I will be able to reach more people over the airwaves.
“I am sure David Ogg will pose some testing questions for me but this is a very good way for as many people as possible to hear their MSP for themselves.
At the end of the month (Fri October 31st, from 4-5pm) Mr Thompson will repeat the exercise when he is interviewed on Cuillin FM by Lib Dem councillor Drew Millar as part of his afternoon show.
Note:
Mr Thompson’s Fort William constituent advice surgery will be held at Fort William service point from 2 – 2.45 pm on Monday October 3rd.
